BACKGROUND
Von-S Solutions originates from two co-workers/friends who recognized there is a gap for Dimensional Engineering in the Automotive industry.
Their shared passion for data analysis and problem solving is the heart of Von-S Solutions – their unique combination of Dimensional and Quality Engineering background provides them with tools and expertise to root cause issues and provide actionable solutions.
Doreen and Matilde are no strangers to breaking barriers in both their personal and professional lives; they have faced challenges and have successfully navigated through them.
Von-S supports businesses in need of dimensional expertise to achieve PPAP in a timely manner. Von-S Solutions is a Women and Minority-owned small business.
THE TEAM
MATILDE RUIZ VALLS
Executive Program Manager
Matilde is an Industrial Engineer who hails from Mexico and Spain. She will soon complete a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and has extensive experience in data analysis, problem solving and manufacturing. Matilde is an independent thinker who has worked for both the OEM and Tier One supplier. She has international vehicle launch and program experience. Matilde was a Quality Plant Manager in Mexico before she moved to Michigan to expand her career in automotive engineering. She is bilingual and has written training and trained cross-functional team members in dimensional engineering which includes GD&T and part fixtures. Matilde has a passion for data driven performance and quality.
DOREEN VANSLAGER
Executive Program Manager
Doreen is an Army veteran and the proud daughter and wife of Army Veterans. She has a diversified background shaped by the military lifestyle of international and domestic travel. Doreen has worked various jobs in data management, accounting and engineering. She was a Quality Program Manager for an automotive Tier One Supplier, and she has worked as a dimensional engineer for two different OEMs. Doreen has international vehicle launch and program experience. She has enjoyed working in the automotive industry for over 30 years – most of that time in data analysis and fixtures.
